The 3.5 ton Luton Van is the removal industry flag-ship and preferred vehicle by lots of Manchester removal companies for most local moving.
It can hold between 600 – 700 cub.ft, box height approx 6.5ft, width 6ft legnth 13ft. Total height from ground – 10.5ft.
We use this wagon as it is so adaptable – small enough to get close enough up to most properties and big enough to contain the contents of an average 1 – 2 bed property.
Very easy to pack and rigged out with blankets and furniture straps to ensure safe transit of all your belongings.
If there is no issue with timing then doing a couple of trips on a larger local move is no problem but when lager moves need to be done in one run then we just bring in other removal vans if needed.
We also use smaller vans on long distance moves, usually hiring relatively new vehicles from our preferred quality van hire company for extra reliability.
It can be more cost effective using a smaller vehicle’s such as S.W.B Transits, L.W.B and also smaller courier vans, that are more suitable for the volume it will contain.
